Bolo-Chete [KM-495]

"Bolo-Chete" Master Kiku has specially made this large Machete knife for Gunny and presented him at the SHOT Show in this January as shown on the top photo at SOG booth. Gunny loves Kiku knives, and wanted Kiku to make a Machete type knife at the last meeting in June Blade Show, 2014. Gunny was so happy to receive this Damascus blade Machete, and named it "Bolo-Chete". He has been using various types of Machetes in Vietnam war, so he wanted to have something special from Master Kiku.

Kiku has just produced two more Bolo-Chete for JCK customers. 14" slightly recurved Hamaguri-ba light weight Machete knife made of Super Gold 2 (SPG2) powdered steel core forge layered stainless Damascus steel blade with thumb notches, 4.0mm thick light weight (570g) Bush/Jungle knife, yet strong Hamaguri-ba ground Damascus layered blade, Oversized 6-1/2" hand contoured OD Green Canvas Micarta handle with finger retaining paracord straps and lanyard hole on end.

Comes with hand fitted "SUNLOID KD" sheath.
SUNLOID KD is an Acrylic-PVC Alloy Plate made by SUMITOMO BAKELITE.
